SITE SPECIFIC INSTALLATION 2
This series of artworks explores the emotional and physical impact of violence through painting, installation, and textured materials. Each piece invites viewers into a space filled with tension, fear, and reflection on human behavior. The first work, Acid Horizon, is a large oil diptych. From a distance, it looks like cracked earth, but up close, it reveals fragments of flesh and scattered debris. Dominated by shades of red, it reflects the dual nature of love and harm. Dogs appear as symbols of hunger and chaos, deepening the sense of unease. The second piece, Sacrifice, takes inspiration from the form of a guillotine. The suspended blade, painted to appear freshly stained, adds a sense of looming danger. Dark tones throughout the work create a mood of suspense and threat. The third piece uses plaster of Paris, color, and broken plastic pipes to build a rough, chaotic surface. Torn and scattered materials, combined with animal imagery, contribute to an atmosphere of disorder and destruction. Together, these works offer a powerful reflection on the emotional weight of violence and the complexity of human experiences in uncertain times.
